Rod the Rad Koala
A radical dude is the koala called Rod. He cruises about town in his vintage hot rod. He works in the factory that makes eucalyptus drops. And in his lunch break he eats three paddle pops. On his days off he heads down with his crew to the beach to get tubes and a meat pie or two. When the waves are flat he plays volleyball on the beach, and for a koala he’s got quite exceptional reach.
An Ode to Florence the Flamingo
Flo Flo the Flamingo was the grooviest of chicks. With the funkiest dance moves and the dopest of kicks. She was the reigning queen of every dance floor. In every town in every dance hall. None could dance better and it was folly to try — you dance battled her, you would surely cry.
Nick the Bin Chicken
Once there was a Bin Chicken called Nick and he was known as being the raddest bin chicken in his flock. His flock hung out down at the park, chilling and playing hacky sack and frisbee and fun stuff like that.
Nick's favourite beverage was a strawberry milkshake with extra strawberry syrup, because he believed the strawberry flavouring gave him the edge in playing hacky sack — and it was kind of true, because every time he had a strawberry milkshake he could do a jester perfectly.
Some of his friends disagreed with his hypothesis, and instead reasoned that it was his funky shoes that gave him the edge, because he was the only dude to have shoes, and everyone knows it's heaps easier to play hacky sack when you're wearing shoes compared to those wrinkly bin chicken talons.
Henry, Sid and Fred Crew
Once there were three buddies called Henry, Sid and Fred, and they loved swimming out to the island in the summertime because there was a sweet waterfall and swimming hole there. They would climb up to the top of the waterfall and do sweet bombs into the water, seeing who could do the biggest splash. Henry the Unicorn always won, because he was heaps heavier than Sid and Fred by a country mile. That's physics for you.
